Senior Claims Manager

Job Description

Senior Claims Manager is required to oversee and ensure that all Non-life insurance claims are managed effectively for our major accounts including construction projects.

You will support the Claims Director to manage day-to-day operations, supervise team members for problem solving and coach team members in order to deliver the best-in-class claims service to our clients.

You also to articulate our claims value with our clients/non-clients to generate claims revenue through claims preparation / claims advocacy services.

Building and maintaining good relationships internally (among various departments and Aon network offices) and externally (Insurers / Reinsurers, Loss Adjusters and other business partners).

What the day will look like

Main Responsibilities:

  • Assisting Claims Director to handle major losses on major accounts
  • Develop claims revenue opportunities through claims preparation / claims advocacy services
  • Supervise team members to achieve claims resolution effectively
  • Maintain both clients and business partners relationship

General Duties:

  • Day-to-day claims handling under Aon claims protocol with claims presentation rendered to our clients
  • Providing claims advice to claims team members including broking/placing team if needed
  • Attending site visit when major loss is notified and assisting our clients on claims management during the course of claim journey
  • Attending meetings as required by our client including monthly claims' meeting with loss adjusters to actively progress the claims
  • Monitoring claim progression and report to related parties including clients and broking/placing team
  • Find opportunities to introduce clients/non-clients with claims preparation/claims advocacy services
  • Building relationships with clients, insurers/reinsurers, loss adjusters and other business partner

Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Bachelor Degree or higher
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in claims and loss adjuster
  • Non-Life Insurance Knowledge
  • Highly motivated team player
  • Good Interpersonal & Communication/Negotiation skills
  • Customer Service and Problem-Solving skills
  • Coaching skill
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to adapt and learn quickly
  • Ability to make client presentation
  • IT knowledge (Microsoft Office)
  • English proficiency in writing and speaking
  • Native Thai speaking
